This professional certification of MCOP will build-up & enhance knowledge on multiple aspects of Options on Futures contracts - its key terminologies, pricing fundamentals , option Greeks , trading, pay-offs, margining, settlement, devolvement & multiple Option trading strategies for hedging & investing.
Trading in Options on Futures in the commodities that are traded in MCX have witnessed enhanced participation periodically ever since they were introduced in 2017 & the expectation is it will continue to grow monumentally. There is therefore an increased need to make the financial & derivative market participants aware of broad aspects about Options trading . The primary objective of MCOP is to augment the understanding of commodity market participants, traders, portfolio managers & investors about key aspects like settlement, devolvement & how multiple Option strategies can be effected for profit maximization & risk management purpose. It will also broaden the understanding of Options on Futures contracts amongst students about pricing fundamentals, pay-offs & Option Greeks.
The certification has been conceptualized & developed by subject matter experts. The registration fee for enrolling for the certification is Re. 2500/- plus GST. After enrolling for the certification, the aspirant will be mailed the study material in the form of an E-Book.
Exchange also arranges for class-room based training sessions to prepare for the assessment. The total cost, including the registration fee for candidates who wish to attend these sessions is Re.6500/-plus GST.
To obtain the certification of MCOP, the candidate will have to pass an assessment based on Multiple Choice Questions which is online and AI proctored so it can be given from anywhere remotely. The candidate can select a date online within 12 months of registration. After clearing the assessment the candidate will be given the MCOP certification.

- Distance learning, where you register, study on your own, and appear for the online examination within six months of your registration. Since the test is AI Proctored you can appear for the test at home as per the time selected.
- The classroom training model, where experts teach you the MCOP course over two days at MCX, Mumbai. You have to take the online examination within six months of your registration.

About the Test
- Test questions are drawn from MCOP reference material
- The test is AI proctored and can be taken from anywhere even from home
- Test questions are randomly generated from a question bank
- Candidates have to answer 50 questions. All questions carry equal marks
- Successful candidates will receive MCOP e-certificate having a 5 year validity

The following steps are required to fill up the On-line application form:

Please use this step to give general information about you to register the profile.

For profile registration, you need to have a valid Email and Mobile Number.
Only one application per candidate is allowed.
After entering the required information in On-line form, submit the form by clicking on SUBMIT button.
A Email containing application number and login ID information is forwarded at your registered email-id.
Note: Please note down the application number carefully as you need to essentially mention it in all your future correspondence/queries related to your application form.

Fill all the required fields in the registration form.
After you click on preview & Submit button then you will be redirect to Preview Application page.
After you click on Proceed to Payment button and you have filled all required fields then you will be redirect to Payment page.
Note: IMPORTANT: The candidates must ensure that after submitting on-line application form, no changes are allowed in any field at later stage.
Click On Proceed to Payment button to complete your payment (if applicable).
If the payment of the fee is made through online (e-payment) and due to some difficulties the candidate is not sure whether the payment is processed or not, then please use login tab to enter in your login account and use Check your previous transaction status option to check your payment is successful or not.
